Frequently Asked Questions
It's very simple: you can book directly online from our website, quickly and securely, by paying a deposit of €15 per person. You can then pay in cash, by card, or by Satispay directly at the refuge. However, we recommend having two payment methods and booking in advance. This will ensure you'll find a place and help us organize everything to welcome you as best as possible. If you prefer, you can write or call us.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Breakfast is from 7:00 to 8:00 and check-out is by 10:00 AM, so we have time to prepare the spaces for new guests. If you arrive earlier or want to stay a little longer... no problem! Enjoy the view and breathe in all the mountain air you want, but keep these times in mind for the dormitories.
The refuge has 48 beds, all in shared dormitories. No private rooms, but a lot of sharing spirit and the possibility of chatting with other hikers over a craft beer. For us, it's one of the best things about living in the refuge!
Yes, the sheet bag (liner) is mandatory, but it is possible to rent one at the refuge. We recommend that you arrive equipped: in addition to being a question of hygiene, it is also a small attention that helps us maintain the quality of the welcome for everyone.
Of course! We do our best to accommodate everyone, but we ask you to let us know when booking or in advance, so we can organize ourselves to offer you an alternative menu. Our cuisine is simple but made with passion, and here at 2377 meters each dish is the result of a little sacrifice ... and a great desire to make those who come here feel good.
Absolutely! If you are planning a long hike or want to enjoy lunch by the lake, we can prepare a packed lunch for you. Again, if you can, let us know in advance.
Yes, Wi-Fi is free. Just keep in mind that we are at 2377 meters, and that the connection, like life up here, is a little slower... but after all, you are here to unplug, right?
Yes! The refuge is connected to electricity and you can charge your cell phone or other devices without any problems. However, bring the cable and, if possible, a power bank (which is always useful in the mountains).
Yes, we accept groups, depending on the availability of beds. If there are many of you, it is better to contact us a little in advance so that we can find the best solution together.
Dogs are welcome in the surroundings of the refuge, but must always be kept on a leash. For safety reasons and respect for other guests, they cannot enter the structure. Thank you for your understanding!
Yes, you can set up your tent nearby, making sure to always leave the helicopter pad free (which we need for supplies and any emergencies). And as always: respect for the mountain, for those who live there and for those who will pass through there after you.
